Sengoku Youko
The world is divided into two factions: humans and monsters called katawara. Despite being a katawara, Tama loves humans and vows to protect them from evil, even if it means fighting her own kind. Her brother Jinka, however, hates humans, despite mostly being one. The siblings are joined by a cowardly swordsman named Shinsuke, who wants to learn how to become strong. When the group uncovers a plot to experiment on humans and transform them into monsters, they vow to defeat whoever is behind it. Even if it means battling an entire army of warriors. The people they meet, places they see, and creatures they battle will be legendary.
Le monde est divisé en deux factions : les humains et les monstres appelés katawara. Bien qu'elle soit une katawara, Tama aime les humains et jure de les protéger du mal, même si cela signifie combattre les siens. Son frère Jinka, cependant, déteste les humains, même s'il en est pour la plupart un. Les frères et sœurs sont rejoints par un épéiste lâche nommé Shinsuke, qui veut apprendre à devenir fort. Surprising animation and acting. Pretty solid opening episode. One of the better shows this season.

This establishes the characters and what is likely to be a "walking the earth" scenario pretty well, but failed to draw me in by setting up an ongoing story.

his one was okay. A little bit of slapstick that made me chuckle, the animation is fairly clean, and the action is fun, but it's nothing to really write home about.
