What if "The Ugly Duckling" was a fantasy anime? Well, here you go!

This one has some fun moments, but its pretty generic in all. We have a main character who is pretty much the "average japanese guy" trope, a love interest who has one big selling point (two if you want to get technical) and a fairly generic fantasy world. it does have a couple things to set it apart, but in general its just another medieval style world.
