It's a promsing beginning; it's cute but creepy and I like 1920's Europe. But there are only two characters and they aren't quite cute enough or creepy enough to carry a whole series by themselves.

It's got potential. Hope it doesn't get into a simple "Cursed-book-of-the-week" rut, and instead explores things a little deeper. also I found the mixture of photto-textures and good old cel characters worked out OK.

Michael Eh?

Sort of A Certain Magical Indexset in early 20's somewhere in Europe. Those who liked Black Butler, might like this show. Mixtures of Revolutionary Girl Utena, Card Captor and elements from other shows. I agree this show might be another 'Collection' of Evil books, but the msyterious childhood dream holds some promise there is a point of destination for these light novels and the anime.

Sort of a slow start to a series the likes of Black Butler, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Gosick. Odd relationship with girl who is a portal to world storing forbidden texts and a young but knowledgeable heir to the 'library'. Huey appears to walking into this arrangement with eyes wide open but is Dalian more than he bargained for?

exquisite background art, interesting retro style & quite original.
