Brutal as the manga, the CGI takes a some getting used to but once the action starts it blends in well. An excellent first episode to the season. However it's not as brutal as I expected it to be. a compromise for television to imply how nasty Berserk can really be. | |||

Gats, connu sous le nom Swordsman Noir, cherche refuge des forces démoniaques attirée par lui et sa femme à cause d'une marque démoniaque sur le cou, et la vengeance aussi contre l'homme qui lui marque comme un sacrifice impie. Aidé seulement par sa force titanesque acquise à partir d'une enfance dure vivaient avec des mercenaires, une épée gigantesque, et une prothèse de main de fer à gauche, Gats doit lutter contre son destin sombre, tout en combattant avec une rage qui pourrait le dépouiller de son humanité.
