Nyan Koi!

The story is about a second-year high school student named Junpei Kousaka, who not only hates cats but also is allergic to them. Unforunately, he happens to have a crush on a girl, Kaede Mizuno, who really loves cats. On the way home from school one day, Junpei kicks an empty can and happens to accidentally hit the Guardian Deity of Cats. Now he's able to understand cats but was practically given a curse. He has to grant 100 wishes from any cat or he'll turn into a cat himself.

This just didn't do it for me. I didn't care much for the main character and none of the others were developed enough. That just leaves the premise, which means the whole story hangs on an allergy and I just don't see enough potenital in that concept.

I had looked at the manga first for this story which seemed good enough. Not spectacular, good. The story telling in the anime seems disjointed, nonlinear. It starts with Junpei Kousaka hearing cats then poorly flashes back to the reason why. leaving the story weak. This might be the case where the manga is definitely better than it's adaption to anime.
