			Making sense of 8-bit game that started Castlevania was pure genius. Making villains of the Medieval Church standard fair. But can we call this anime? Anime and cartoon are simply animation. Storyline has it's holes as all stories do. Just to waste 4 episodes for prelude makes it less worth watching.

			First off, this was very well animated. The visuals are very high quality, with good action sequences.

			The rest of the show I felt was not so wonderous.
			It was difficult for me to care about the characters. Most of the characters were, well, asses.
			It made it very hard to get into the series. I really didnt care if any of them were saved, they were not the best elements of humanity. You saw a lot of racism, bigotry, greed, ego, from most every character.

			All in all, this was a lot like Vampire Hunter D striped of it's soul, leaving only the visuals.

	When his wife is burned at the stake after being falsely accused of witchcraft, the vampire Count Vlad Dracula Tepes declares all the people of Wallachia will pay with their lives. His army of monsters and demons overruns the country, causing the people to live lives of fear and distrust.
