Tour de France – it is the biggest bicycle race in the world. Now, a new achievement is about to be recorded in the history of Tour de France. The top racer is a Japanese boy named Shinozaki Mikoto.
“Why don’t you join our bicycle club?” said Fukazawa, Shinozaki Mikoto`s secret love.
Unfortunately, despite being a high school student, he doesn`t know how to ride a bike. With no real idea of what the bicycle club is, he earnestly practices. After he overcomes this challenge, while he pedals along, something that was smoldering in his mind for 15 years ignites.
"I want to devote myself to bike riding."
Experiencing failure with his friends and rivals, he pedals towards becoming the top racer.

Sports bicycle drama about a Japanese kid who will one day compete in the Tour de France bicycle race and how he gets to that goal. Well animated and well told, but I’ve seen this formula too many times for it to really appeal to me at this point. Actually, it’s a personal complaint of mine that more Sports Drama shows aren’t being shown on TV here in North America, not because I love sports (I actually don’t), but because I think they have a very solid message for kids and are a lot better for them than even Naruto or even One Piece (both of which I adore, don’t send hate mail!). Stories about “real” people who face adversity and fight for the love of a game or to make themselves the best are something we should be promoting the hell out of in our society.
